Ingredients:
3 ounces Red cranberry juice,
3 ounces apple juice,
1 ounce honey,
Maraschino cherry and a slice of apple to garnish.

Method:
Take a glass, pour apple juice into it. Then pour honey and stir well. Then add 4-5 ice cubes and pour cranberry juice to fill the glass. Make a slit in the cherry and the apple slice and decorate the glass.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

We all love smoothies, they are simple to prepare and very healthy. Smoothies are ideal for weight-watchers and children who dislike eating fruits. Colorful smoothies are attractive and hence children love them. So all you mums out there, get goin!

Ingredients: (Serves 2)
2 bananas; peeled, sliced and chilled,
8 fresh/frozen strawberries or 1 cup strawberry crush, (chilled)
2 cups yogurt, (chilled)
Few ice cubes,
Sugar only if required,
Blender or hand blender.

Method:
In a large bowl or into the blender, combine bananas, strawberries, yogurt, ice cubes and sugar if required and blend well till it is smooth and creamy. Serve in smoothie glasses.

Pear Granita

Ingredients:
1 pear; chopped,
1 cup crushed ice,
1/2 lemon,
1/2 cup white or brown sugar,
Whipped cream

Method:
In a blender, put pear, crushed ice, sugar and squeeze the lemon juice. Blend together till smooth. Pour into the glass and top with whipped cream (as much as you like). Your pear granita is ready to be served.

Very Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:
6 strawberries,
1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries,
1/4 cup frozen mixed berries,
1 cup whole fat milk, (try low fat if you want a low calorie smoothie)
1 cup water,
2 tbsp skim milk powder.

Method:
Blend all the ingredients in the blender until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve chilled

Banana and Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:
2 bananas,
10-12 strawberries,
1 cup whole fat milk,
1 cup water,
1/2 cup cream,
Sugar as per taste.

Method:
Blend together all the ingredients till smooth. Chill and serve.
