1/2 tsp green chilli paste,
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves,
1 tbsp tomato ketchup,
Salt to taste,

Then ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste and coriander (reserve a tbsp for garnishing) and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhania powder and again fry for few minutes. Then add the tomato puree, cover and cook till the gravy starts leaving some oil. Then uncover add tomato ketchup and the chicken pieces, give it a stir to coat the chicken with the gravy, add little water to help the chicken to cook. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or till chicken is soft and tender. Meanwhile heat the piece of charcoal on the stove for around 7-8 minutes. When chicken is done, put off the flame, uncover, place the steel bowl into it and the charcoal into the bowl, pour a spoonful of oil on the coal and you will see smoke coming out of it. Immediately cover with the lid and let it be covered for 3-4 minutes. Your chicken on fire is ready to be served.
