Ingredients:
500 gms chicken pieces,
1 cup maida(wheat flour),
1/2 cup cornflour,
4 eggs, beaten,
3 tsp ginger-garlic paste,
1 tsp turmeric powder,
2 tsp red chilli powder,
1/2 tsp basil,(can use chopped basil leaves)
1/2 tsp oregano,(optional)
1 tbsp black pepper,
Salt to taste,
Bread crumbs,
Method:
Marinate the chicken pieces with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, basil, oregano and salt for more than 1 hour.
In a mixing bowl, mix maida(wheat flour), cornflour, black pepper and some salt. Beat eggs into this mixture. (Reduce or add the number of eggs as per your requirement). Spread the bread crumbs in a plate.
Heat oil kadhai (wok), dip the chicken pieces one by one in this flour mixture and then into the bread crumbs. Cover each piece well with the bread crumbs and fry them till they turn golden brown and the chicken in cooked properly.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
