Ingredients:
1 cup thin poha,
Besan or gram flour for kneading dough,
1 small onion, finely chopped,
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste,
1 tsp red chilli powder or green chilli paste,
1/2 tsp ajwain (carom seeds),
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves,
Salt to taste,
Oil for frying.
Method:
Add little water to poha and soak them for 5 minutes. Then add all the other ingredients and gram flour enough for binding. Knead dough, make small balls or use mould to prepare desired shapes. Heat oil in kadhai (wok) for deep frying or in a pan to shallow fry and fry these patties from both sides till they turn brown all over. Serve with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
