A Mexican snack loved by all around the world. Mexican cuisine is one of the popular and most loved cuisine in the world. Tortilla chips are made of corn flour and are served with different toppings like chilli beans, variety of salsas, chicken, sour cream, cheddar cheese, guacamole, etc. You can experiment with your own toppings.
Ingredients:
1 cup whole corn flour,
2 tbsp cornflour,
2 tbsp refined wheat flour,
Salt to taste,
1/2 tsp red chilli powder,
Water.
Mix all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and knead a dough. Roll using some flour into a flat round. Then cut them into triangles. Prick them with a fork. Heat oil for deep frying in wok on low-medium flame. Drop these tortilla chips into the medium hot oil in batches and fry them till they turn very light brown. Serve them with Guacamole or any salsa.
